GFWC Japan Disaster Relief Effort
In response to the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan, GFWC is accepting donations to assist with relief efforts. Similar to the Haiti Disaster Relief Fund, we will be working with GFWC International Outreach partners to assess relief and development needs over the coming weeks and months.
 
Donation checks should be made payable to GFWC, and sent to GFWC Headquarters Attention: Japan Disaster Relief, 1734 N Street NW, Washington, DC 20036-2990. Virtual Exhibit of GFWC History Now Online

Be sure to acknowledge her with a GFWC Star Pin. These are the perfect recognition for recruitment overachievers! GFWC members who recruit:
5-9 new members receive a white star
10-14 new members receive a red star
15-19 new members receive a blue star
20-24 new members receive a silver star
25+ new members receive a gold star

Call for Winter Recruitment Narratives and Photos
We’re looking for stories and photos from your winter “A Time for GFWC” recruitment activities. Stories submitted will have the possibility of being published in GFWC Clubwoman Magazine. Narratives should include details on what your club did, how you advertised, how many people attended the event, and how many members joined as a result. Additionally, pictures of you and your club participating in your activities are always welcome! Photos should be in the highest resolution possible. Please send all submissions to PR@GFWC.org no later than March 31, 2011.
